Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role based in Narela.

The Senior

Accountant will manage end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, overseeing reconciliations (bank, payment gateway, marketplace, COD), and ensuring compliance with taxation, GST, TDS, payroll, and ROC requirements.

The Senior

Accountant will support audits,



implement and monitor internal controls, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting. This position also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior accounting staff, and providing insights that assist clients in making sound financial and business decisions.

Qualifications

- Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in taxation, GST, TDS, payroll processing, and ROC compliance, with up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations.
- Experience with MIS reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Ability to work with accounting and ERP software, spreadsheets, and technology-enabled finance tools.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Experience in e-commerce accounting, payment gateway and marketplace reconciliation, and COD reconciliation is highly beneficial.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, CPA, or a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a similar senior accounting role, preferably in consulting, advisory, or multi-client environments.
