Role Description The Senior Account Officer is a full-time, on-site position based in Ludhiana, responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial and accounting operations. This role includes preparing, reviewing, and reconciling financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and monitoring cash flow and budgeting activities.

The Senior Account

Officer will ensure compliance with institutional policies and relevant financial regulations, support internal and external audits, and maintain accurate documentation and records.



The role also involves responding to queries from internal stakeholders, coordinating with banks and vendors, and providing financial reports and analysis to management for decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Finance and Financial Statements, including preparation, analysis, and reconciliation.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with students, staff, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
- Experience in institutional or corporate accounting, familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel, and knowledge of applicable financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, robust organizational skills, and a commitment to ethical financial practices.
