Role Description The Senior Academic Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Dehradun and Delhi.This role involves guiding learners through their academic journey, from initial counseling and program selection to ongoing support and performance tracking.

The Senior Academic

Counselor will conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions, assess learners’ goals and aptitudes, and recommend suitable courses and learning paths. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, collaborating with faculty and operations teams, providing regular progress updates to learners, and addressing academic or engagement concerns promptly. The role also includes contributing to learner engagement initiatives,



participating in orientation and information sessions, and supporting continuous improvement in counseling processes.

Qualifications

- Solid academic counseling and career guidance skills, with experience supporting learners or professionals in education or training programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen actively, build trust, and explain complex information clearly.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple learners, schedules, and documentation efficiently.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify learner challenges, interpret performance data, and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Comfort with digital tools and learning platforms, and the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in academic advising, student success, or learning and development is highly beneficial.
