Role Description
We are looking for a Security Engineer with 2–5 years(Full-time) in SOC operations, security engineering, or platform administration to be deployed on-site to manage, maintain, and support the Cyber Risk Posture Management platform. You will be the single point of contact between the client and the platform team — responsible for keeping the deployment healthy, onboarding data sources, tuning the platform, and helping the client's security team extract maximum value from it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the platform deployment — installation, upgrades, patching, backups, and health monitoring of the underlying infrastructure
- Manage Linux servers hosting the platform: performance tuning, log analysis, disk/service management, and troubleshooting
- Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting, data validation, dashboard support, and troubleshooting data-pipeline issues
- Integrate and onboard client data sources (SIEM, EDR, firewalls, vulnerability scanners, cloud) into the platform; validate log/data ingestion
- Work with the client's SOC team on alert triage workflows, incident response support, and mapping platform findings to SOC processes
- Fine-tune risk scoring, dashboards, and reports based on client requirements
- Coordinate with the product/engineering team for bug escalations, feature requests, and release rollouts
- Prepare weekly/monthly platform health and cyber risk posture reports for client stakeholders
- Conduct user training and handholding sessions for the client's team
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors in Any degree
- Linux (must-have): Strong hands-on administration — services, networking, shell scripting, log management, troubleshooting
- SQL (must-have): Comfortable writing joins, aggregations, and diagnostic queries; understanding of database maintenance basics (MySQL/PostgreSQL preferred)
- SOC (must-have): Working understanding of SOC operations — SIEM concepts, log sources, alert triage, incident response lifecycle, MITRE ATT&CK;
- Familiarity with at least one SIEM/EDR stack (ELK, Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, Wazuh, CrowdStrike, or similar)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, proxies)
- Robust communication skills — this is a client-facing role requiring clear reporting and stakeholder management
