Shopify Developer (Full Stack) | 3-5 Years Experience

About the Role

n

We are looking for a motivated and self-driven Shopify Developer with 3-5 years of professional

n

experience to join our engineering team.

n

This role is ideal for someone with strong JavaScript and full-stack development fundamentals

n

who enjoys building custom eCommerce solutions. While prior experience with Shopify App

n

development is a plus, we are primarily looking for developers with a solid technical foundation

n

who are eager to learn and grow into Shopify App development.

n

The ideal candidate should be able to work independently on assigned tasks, think critically,

n

propose technical solutions, and write clean, maintainable code.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

● Develop and maintain custom Shopify features and integrations.

n

● Customize Shopify themes and storefront functionality when required.

n

● Contribute to the development and maintenance of Shopify Apps under technical

n

guidance.

n

● Build and consume REST APIs and integrate third-party services.

n

● Develop reusable frontend and backend components.

n

● Write efficient database queries and work with application data.

n

● Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the application stack.

n

● Participate in requirement discussions and propose practical technical solutions.

n

● Optimize applications for performance, maintainability, and scalability.

n

● Write clean, well-structured, and reusable code following development standards.

n

● Collaborate with designers, QA engineers, and other developers throughout the

development lifecycle.

n

● Continuously learn new Shopify technologies and development best practices.

Required Skills

Shopify

n

● 3-5 years of hands-on Shopify development experience.

n

● Good understanding of Shopify themes and Liquid.

n

● Experience customizing Shopify storefronts.

n

● Basic understanding of Shopify APIs and app ecosystem.

● Familiarity with Shopify Online Store 2.0.

Programming

n

● Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).

● Good understanding of asynchronous programming.

● Experience with Node.js and Express (or similar backend frameworks).

Frontend Development

n

● Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.

● Experience with responsive web development.

● Experience working with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
