Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role involves planning and executing SEO strategies, including conducting technical and content-focused SEO audits, keyword research, and on-page optimization for client websites. The manager will oversee link-building initiatives, collaborate with content and marketing teams to align SEO efforts with broader campaigns, and monitor performance using web analytics tools.

Daily responsibilities include tracking rankings and traffic, preparing performance reports, identifying opportunities for improvement, and staying current with search engine algorithm updates and industry best practices.



The role also requires communicating SEO recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform comprehensive SEO Audits and implement technical and on-page optimization recommendations.
- Robust Keyword Research skills, including search intent analysis, competitive keyword review, and mapping keywords to content.
- Experience with Link Building strategies such as outreach, digital PR, and ethical off-page optimization.
- Proficiency in Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) to track performance, interpret data, and generate actionable insights.
- Solid understanding of Marketing principles and how SEO integrates with content, social, and paid campaigns.
- Experience with major SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog) and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and strategies clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in an agency or multi-client SEO environment is preferred.
