About the Role

We are looking for a creative and technically minded Script Writer & Storyboard Artist with a Mechanical Engineering background to develop engaging scripts and visual storyboards for engineering, manufacturing, product, and technical content.

The ideal candidate can understand complex mechanical concepts and transform them into transparent, engaging, and visually compelling stories for videos, animations, explainers, training materials, and technical presentations.

Key Responsibilities

Write scripts for technical videos, product explainers, engineering animations, and educational content.

Develop storyboards that clearly communicate scenes, camera angles, animations, and technical processes.

Convert complex mechanical engineering concepts into easy-to-understand narratives.

Collaborate with engineers, designers, animators, and video production teams.

Research technical topics and verify engineering information for accuracy.

Create scene-by-scene visual direction, including narration, visuals, transitions, and on-screen text.

Review and improve scripts and storyboards based on technical and creative feedback.

Maintain consistency in technical terminology, product details, and visual representation.

Requirements





Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.

Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing, machinery, materials, or engineering processes.

Excellent English writing and communication skills.

Ability to write engaging scripts while maintaining technical accuracy.

Ability to visualize concepts and create clear storyboards.

Strong research and problem-solving skills.

Good understanding of video storytelling, animation, and visual communication.

Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma, Canva, or similar tools is a plus.

Preferred Skills

Experience creating engineering or technical videos.

Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo.

Experience with 2D/3D animation or technical visualization.

Understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical assemblies, and industrial equipment.

Portfolio demonstrating script writing, storyboarding, technical content, or animation work.
