Company Description Cellumantra Biorefinery Pvt. Ltd. is a DPIIT-recognized green biotechnology startup developing an enzymatic biorefinery platform to convert non-wood agricultural waste into industrial enzymes and advanced biomaterials. The company focuses on revenue-first enzyme production for sectors such as textiles and wastewater treatment, followed by high-margin cellulose nanofibers (CNF) for sustainable materials.

Its technology is optimized for Indian biomass, enabling cost-efficient, scalable, and circular manufacturing processes. By valorizing agricultural residues, Cellumantra aims to reduce farm-waste burning, decrease import dependency, and accelerate the transition to a bio-based economy. The team combines biotech innovation with industrial application to create commercially viable and environmentally responsible solutions.

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Global SBLC/ Bank Guarantee Consultant Expert serving as a venture studio based cofounder partner not salaried job.. The individual /company will lead strategy and execution for securing Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC), bank guarantees, and related trade finance instruments to support global project funding and scale-up activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and engaging international financial institutions, structuring credit enhancement mechanisms, and advising on risk mitigation for large green-tech and infrastructure projects.

The role involves close collaboration with founders to design investment-ready models, coordinate due diligence with partners, and support negotiations with lenders, guarantors, and strategic investors.



The consultant will also help build a repeatable venture studio framework for financing new biorefinery ventures, ensuring compliance with global regulations and aligning capital structures with long-term commercialization goals.

Qualifications

- Robust expertise in SBLC, bank guarantees, and international trade finance, including structuring, documentation, and compliance.
- Experience in project finance, infrastructure or clean-tech funding, with a track record of closing complex cross-border transactions.
- Knowledge of global banking regulations, risk management, and credit analysis relevant to guarantees and letters of credit.
- Background in venture building, venture studios, or cofounding roles, with the ability to design scalable funding models for startups.
- Understanding of green technology, biotechnology, or industrial manufacturing sectors is highly beneficial.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills with financial institutions and strategic partners.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple transactions, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications in trade or project finance are an advantage.
