Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Core ABAP, OOABAP, SAP Web Dynpro ABAP, OData, Adobe Forms, and SAP integration technologies. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting custom SAP applications across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions, with strong focus on SAP Web Dynpro ABAP and OData services.
- Design, develop, enhance, and support custom SAP applications, reports, interfaces, workflows, forms, and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain print programs, output management solutions, and business-critical forms across SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
- Work on Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and print/output solutions.
- Develop and maintain interfaces using RFC, ALE, IDoc, BAPI, BDC, and other SAP integration technologies.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support.
- Work closely with functional consultants, business users, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Follow SAP development standards, coding guidelines, best practices, and quality processes.
- Analyze production issues and provide timely resolution while ensuring minimal business impact.
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and solution design activities.

Mandatory Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Core ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
- Extensive experience in Web Dynpro ABAP.
- Strong experience in OData development and services.

- Strong knowledge of SAP Enhancement Framework, including:

- User Exits
- Customer Exits
- BAdIs
- Enhancement Spots

- Solid understanding of SAP Data Dictionary, including:

- Tables
- Domains
- Data Elements
- Search Helps
- Lock Objects

- Experience with RFC, ALE, IDoc, BAPI, BDC, LSMW, ALV, Workflow, and Data Interfaces.
- Good understanding of SAP tables, data models, and integration concepts.
- Experience with SQL Trace, Runtime Analysis, debugging, performance tuning, and Query/InfoSet development.
- Knowledge of SOAP, REST, HTTP APIs, and web services.
- Experience in custom report development, enhancements, modifications, and support of SAP standard/custom applications.

S/4HANA & Additional Skills

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA development concepts, including:
- CDS Views
- AMDP
- Code Pushdown

- Knowledge of SAP Fiori integration is an added advantage.
- Experience with S/4HANA Output Management is an added advantage.
- Understanding of modern SAP development practices and integration patterns is preferred.
