Job Title: SAP Automation Test Engineer

Reports to: Delivery Manager

Location: Bengaluru, India (Hybrid)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Automation Test Engineer with 7-9 years of experience in SAP testing and automation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP business processes and hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca for test automation.

This role is a hands-on quality engineering position focused on delivering robust automation solutions for SAP applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and development teams to ensure high-quality releases through effective test automation and continuous testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for SAP applications.
- Collaborate with SAP functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and test scenarios.
- Analyse defects, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain reusable automation assets and frameworks.




- Support test planning, test execution, and release validation activities.
- Ensure adequate test coverage and adherence to quality standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation, reports, and automation results.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7-9 years of experience in software testing with a focus on SAP applications.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP testing and business process validation.
- Proven expertise in Tricentis Tosca automation.
- Experience in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules and enterprise business processes.
- Experience creating and maintaining automated test suites and reusable assets.
- Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori testing.
- Knowledge of API and integration testing.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Tosca Automation Certification.
- ISTQB Certification or equivalent testing qualification.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
