Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Kalyan. The Salesperson will engage with walk-in and existing customers, understand their requirements, and recommend appropriate thread and textile products. Daily responsibilities include explaining product features and pricing, preparing quotations, processing orders, and coordinating with inventory or warehouse staff to ensure timely delivery.

The role involves maintaining accurate sales records, following up on pending orders and payments, and supporting basic merchandising of products in the store or showroom. The Salesperson will also assist in building new customer relationships, handling customer queries and concerns professionally, and contributing to sales targets and overall business growth.





Qualifications

- Demonstrated sales aptitude, including the ability to understand customer needs, present product options clearly, and close sales in a retail or B2B environment.
- Strong customer service orientation, with skills in active listening, clear communication, and polite, professional interaction with diverse customers.
- Basic numeracy and record-keeping abilities to handle pricing, billing, cash or digital transactions, and maintain accurate sales documentation.
- Organizational and time management skills to manage multiple customer requests, follow up on orders, and coordinate with internal teams.
- Willingness to learn product details related to threads and textiles, and to update knowledge as new products or ranges are introduced.
- Ability to work on-site in Kalyan, stand for extended periods when needed, and support routine showroom or store upkeep.
- Prior experience in retail, textile, or related sales is an advantage but not mandatory; candidates with a solid interest in sales and textiles are encouraged to apply.
- Basic education and language skills sufficient for professional communication with customers and colleagues; familiarity with local languages is beneficial.
