Role Description The Sales Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Belgaum.

The Sales

Officer will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, generating leads, and managing relationships with distributors, retailers, and other channel partners. Day-to-day activities include conducting sales visits, presenting product offerings, negotiating orders and pricing within guidelines, and ensuring timely follow-up on inquiries. The role also involves coordinating sales operations activities such as order processing, tracking sales performance, and supporting marketing initiatives in the assigned territory.

Officer will address customer service needs, gather market feedback, and collaborate with internal teams to achieve sales targets and strengthen Astral Adhesives’ presence in the region.

Qualifications

- Strong Sales Operations and Channel Sales skills, with experience managing distributors, retailers, or trade partners.
- Customer Service and Communication skills to handle client queries, build long-term relationships, and present products effectively.
- Lead Generation capabilities, including identifying prospects, qualifying leads, and converting opportunities into sales.
- Knowledge of adhesives, construction chemicals, or building materials industry is an advantage.
- Proven ability to work in the field, meet sales targets, and manage a defined territory such as Belgaum and surrounding areas.
- Basic proficiency with MS Office and CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; relevant sales experience in FMCG or construction products preferred.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
