Role Overview We are looking for a motivated and proactive Sales Intern to support our sales and business development activities. The intern will gain hands-on experience in market research, database building, lead generation, cold calling, and field visits,

while supporting the team in identifying and developing potential business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Market Research: Research target markets, industries, competitors, and potential customer segments.
- Database Development: Collect, verify, and maintain databases of potential customers, companies, and business

contacts.
- Lead Generation: Identify and compile new sales leads through online research, references, and other sources.
- Cold Calling: Make outbound calls to prospective customers to introduce the company and understand their

requirements.
- Cold Visits: Conduct field visits to prospective customers/businesses to generate leads and explore sales

opportunities.
- Lead Follow-up: Follow up with prospective customers through calls, messages, and emails.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team in preparing lead lists, maintaining records, and coordinating with prospects.
- CRM/Tracker Updates:



Maintain accurate records of calls, visits, leads, follow-ups, and customer responses.
- Market Feedback: Gather customer and market feedback and share relevant insights with the sales team.
- Meeting Support: Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings with potential clients.
- Travel: Willingness to travel PAN India for client meetings, market visits, exhibitions, and business development

activities. Key Skills & Requirements

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable making cold calls and conducting field visits.
- Willingness to travel PAN India as required for business development activities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Valuable internet research and data collection skills.
- Proactive and target-oriented approach.
- Willingness to learn sales and business development.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
