Sales Engineer – Industrial Automation | Festo

Durga Hardware & Electricals (DHE) is looking for a Sales Engineer – Industrial Automation to join our growing Industrial Automation business.

We are seeking a self-driven, customer-focused sales professional with 2–3 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, pneumatics, factory automation or technical B2B sales .

The role will focus on developing current customers, understanding industrial applications and providing Festo pneumatic and automation solutions to OEMs and manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new OEM and industrial customers
- Generate leads and new business opportunities
- Promote Festo Pneumatics & Automation solutions
- Understand customer applications and identify suitable technical solutions
- Conduct regular customer visits and technical discussions
- Develop relationships with Purchase, Maintenance, Production, Engineering and Projects teams
- Identify automation requirements and conversion opportunities
- Prepare quotations and follow up for order conversion
- Conduct product presentations and technical discussions
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Track enquiries, quotations and sales opportunities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Monitor market developments and competitor activities

Preferred Experience 2–3 years of relevant experience in:

- Industrial Automation
- Pneumatics
- Factory Automation
- Technical Sales
- B2B Industrial Sales
- OEM Sales
- Automation Components

Experience with Festo, SMC, Parker, Janatics, Bosch Rexroth, Emerson, Siemens,



ABB or similar industrial automation brands will be an advantage.

Candidate Profile

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or related engineering disciplines
- Strong interest in Industrial Automation and Pneumatics
- Good technical understanding and application-oriented approach
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to develop new customers independently
- Target-oriented and proactive
- Comfortable with regular customer visits
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred
