About the Role

Ocean Sky Logistics is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales & Business Development professional to expand our customer base and develop new business opportunities in international Air & Sea Freight – Import & Export. The ideal candidate should have an established understanding of the freight forwarding industry, strong communication skills and the ability to identify, approach and convert potential customers into long-term business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new business for Air & Sea Freight Import & Export.
- Identify and approach potential customers, importers, exporters, manufacturers, traders and international businesses.
- Generate qualified sales leads through direct sales, LinkedIn, email, telephone and industry networking.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
- Understand customer logistics requirements and coordinate with the Pricing and Operations teams to provide suitable solutions.
- Prepare and follow up on freight quotations and commercial proposals.
- Negotiate rates and commercial terms with customers while maintaining company profitability.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales and revenue targets.
- Develop new accounts and increase business from existing customers.
- Follow up regularly on leads, quotations and business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of prospects, customers,



quotations and sales activities.
- Monitor competitor pricing and market trends.
- Coordinate with Air Freight, Sea Freight, Pricing, Operations and Documentation teams to ensure smooth customer service.
- Develop business across domestic and international trade lanes.
- Participate in customer meetings, business networking events and industry activities.
- Identify opportunities for import, export, air freight, sea freight, FCL, LCL and other logistics services.

Target Customer Segments

The candidate will be expected to develop business from:

- Importers & Exporters
- Manufacturers
- Traders
- E-commerce companies
- SMEs and corporate customers
- International trading companies
- Project cargo customers
- Overseas freight forwarders and logistics partners
- Existing and potential B2B customers

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics Sales.
- Strong knowledge of Air Freight and Sea Freight – Import & Export.
- Existing customer relationships/network will be an advantage.
- Proven ability to generate new business independently.
- Experience in B2B sales and customer acquisition.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.




- Valuable understanding of international freight forwarding services.
- Ability to understand freight quotations, pricing and commercial terms.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
- LinkedIn and digital lead-generation experience will be an advantage.

Performance will be evaluated based on: New Customers Acquired | Sales Revenue | Gross Profit | New Business Leads | Customer Retention | Quotation Conversion | Monthly Target Achievement
