About the Role

Anil Balaji Steel is looking for a

highly competent and experienced Head of Accounts

to lead the Accounts & Finance function. The role requires a professional with strong technical knowledge, sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to lead the finance function effectively. The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of accounting operations, taxation, statutory compliance, audits, financial reporting, cash flow management and the development of a high-performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the

Accounts & Finance Department

. Oversee all accounting operations, including

GL, AP, AR, Banking, Reconciliations and Month/Year-End Closing

. Ensure accurate

Direct and Indirect Taxation

, statutory compliance and timely filings. Handle

Internal, Statutory and Tax Audits

and liaise with auditors. Prepare and review

Financial Statements, MIS Reports,



Budgets and Forecasts

. Monitor

cash flows, working capital and cost control

. Lead, mentor and develop a

high-performing finance team

.

Qualification

CA | CS | CMA (Inter/Final) CA and/or CS preferred

Experience

10+ years of experience

in handling accounts and leading the finance function in a prestigious organisation.

Required Expertise

Strong knowledge of

Accounting Standards, Ind AS, Companies Act, GST, TDS and other applicable laws

. Proficiency in

Tally ERP, SAP, other accounting software and MS Excel

. Excellent

analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

. High level of

integrity, accuracy and attention to detail

. Excellent

communication and leadership skills
