Role Description The Safety Engineer role is a full time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining safety policies and procedures across projects, including HVAC, IBMS, fire protection, security, and water treatment installations.

The Safety

Engineer will conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company guidelines.

Responsibilities include overseeing construction and installation safety practices, coordinating occupational health initiatives,



and supporting security and emergency response readiness. The role also requires delivering safety training to project teams and subcontractors, preparing incident reports, recommending corrective actions, and collaborating with project managers and engineers to proactively mitigate hazards.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Safety Engineering, including risk assessment, hazard identification, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health principles, workplace safety practices, and incident prevention methods.
- Understanding of Security measures and protocols related to building systems, fire protection, and surveillance environments.
- Experience in delivering Training on safety procedures, emergency response, and safe work practices to diverse project teams.
- Experience or exposure to Construction Safety on infrastructure, HVAC, IBMS, or industrial projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably safety, mechanical, civil, or industrial) or a related technical field; relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are an advantage.
- Familiarity with Indian safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced project environments and to travel to project locations within or around Ahmedabad as required.
