1. Represent the organization on assigned infrastructure / industrial project sites from a Health & Safety perspective.
2. Assist in implementing company-wide HSE policies, procedures, and systems at site level.
3. Ensure contractor compliance with statutory safety requirements, approved method statements, and risk assessments.
4. Support the Site Head and Project Manager in identifying safety risks and implementing mitigation measures.
5. Ensure adherence to highest HSE standards during civil, structural, PEB, MEP, and finishing works.
Operational Responsibilities
1. Conduct daily site safety inspections and report unsafe acts/conditions in a timely manner.
2. Ensure all safety documentation (RA, MS, permits, checklists) is available prior to commencement of work.
3. Monitor use of PPE and enforce secure working practices at all times.
4.
Stop unsafe work practices and guide contractors with corrective and preventive actions.
5. Maintain site safety records including daily reports, incident logs, toolbox talks, and training records.
6. Assist in investigation of near misses, incidents, and accidents and support closure of corrective actions.
7. Conduct site-level safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs.
People Management
1. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams on day-to-day safety matters.
2. Support Regional / Corporate Safety team in audits and compliance reviews.
3. Promote safety culture and awareness among site workforces.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
Educational Qualification
Graduate (B.Sc.) / Diploma in Engineering / Bachelor Degree in Engineering / NEBOSH (Diploma or in progress preferred)
