Role Description The role involves developing and integrating machine-control software, motion-control systems, electronics, sensors, actuators, heating systems, and robotic platforms to enable precise and reliable automated composite manufacturing. The engineer will work on the complete system, from hardware and firmware development to machine software, robotics, communication interfaces, process monitoring, and system integration.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Control Systems, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.




- 3 years of relevant industry experience in robotics, industrial automation, machine development, motion control, embedded systems, or advanced manufacturing equipment.
- Strong programming skills in C/C and Python, with experience developing software for real-time control, hardware interfacing, automation, or robotics.
- Strong experience with motion-control systems, including servo motors, drives, encoders, PLCs, motion controllers, CNC systems, or equivalent industrial control architectures.
- Hands-on experience in electronics and hardware integration, including sensors, actuators, motor controllers, heaters, lasers, data acquisition systems, communication interfaces, and control panels.
- Experience with robotics and industrial automation, preferably involving industrial robots, robotic trajectory generation, ROS/ROS2, robot programming, TCP/IP, CAN, EtherCAT, Modbus, or similar industrial communication protocols.
- Experience developing or integrating machine-control software, toolpath generation, G-code/robot code, CAD/CAM, process monitoring, data acquisition, or digital manufacturing systems.
- Solid hands-on problem-solving and system-integration skills, with the ability to work across electronics, software, robotics, controls, and mechanical systems. Experience with 3D printing/additive manufacturing, computer vision, AI/ML, or closed-loop process control will be a strong advantage.
