About the Role

We are seeking a driven and technically versatile RPA Support Engineer to join our Robotic Process Automation team. This role sits at the intersection of development, Level 3 support, and business process automation. The ideal candidate brings solid Python development skills, working knowledge of C# and VB, strong RPA/BPM platform experience, and the ability to independently gather requirements, develop solutions, and resolve production issues with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Automation

- Design, develop, and maintain RPA bots and BPM workflows to automate business processes end-to-end.




- Write Python scripts and automation logic; leverage C# and VB code where required by the RPA platform or integration needs.
- Build and enhance automation solutions across RPA and BPM platforms, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and reusability.
- Test automation builds against defined business requirements and validate outcomes before deployment to production.

Production Support & Helpdesk

- Serve as Level 3 support for RPA and BPM solutions in production, performing root cause analysis and timely resolution of incidents.
- Manage helpdesk tickets related to automation failures, bot exceptions, and process disruptions; coordinate with business teams for quick recovery.
- Monitor bot health, execution schedules, and exception queues; proactively identify and address recurring issues.
- Maintain detailed incident logs, support documentation, and resolution runbooks.

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

- Engage with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate automation requirements for new or enhanced RPA/BPM solutions.
- Translate business process requirements into technical specifications and development-ready user stories.
- Perform gap analysis on existing automation to identify improvement opportunities and prioritize enhancements.

Required Qualifications

- Hands-on Python development experience; strong scripting, logic-building, and debugging skills.
- Working knowledge of C# and/or VB — sufficient to read,



modify, and integrate code within RPA platform contexts.
- Mandatory experience with at least one RPA platform (Blue Prism) or any tool relevant.
- Proven Production Support or Helpdesk experience, with comfort owning incidents from triage through to resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to gather requirements independently and convert them into actionable development tasks.
- Experience testing automation solutions against business and functional requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with minimal day-to-day guidance.

Preferred Qualifications(Nice to Have)

The following are not mandatory but will significantly strengthen your candidacy:

- Business Analyst (BA) experience, especially in RPA or BPM contexts — understanding how automation replaces or supports business functions is a strong differentiator.
- PowerShell scripting for automation, system administration tasks, or integration with Windows environments.
- Ability to self-direct and think critically without requiring heavy guidance — a proactive, self-starter mindset is highly valued on this team.
- Exposure to process mining or intelligent automation tools complementing RPA.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery and working within sprint-based development cycles.
