Position Title: Sr. Manager - Quality

Location: Talegaon (A Factory Automation & Industrial Division plant)

Organisation: Japanese multinational manufacturer of electrical and electronic equipment.

Key skills : PCBA, QMS, validation, reliability, FRACAS, corrective actions, and field-failure investigations, root-cause investigations. ISO, IEC, PFMEA, SPC, poka-yoke, and traceability systems, DFM, DFT, DFR, and design reviews .

/n

/n

Essential Qualifications & Experience

/n

/n
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electronics Engineering.

/n
15+ years of experience with significant leadership in electronics, PCBA , or industrial manufacturing.

/n
Robust knowledge of QMS , validation , reliability, and applicable standards.

/n
Proven success in audits, FRACAS , corrective actions , and field-failure investigations.

/n
15+ years of experience in Quality Management of production, Supplier, field failure .

/n

Key Responsibilities

/n

Quality Strategy & Governance

/n

/n
Define quality vision, objectives, KPIs, and annual operating plans.

/n
Govern product releases, deviations, concessions, corrective actions, and risk management.

/n
Manage quality resources, budgets, and laboratory investments.

/n

/n

Quality Systems & Compliance





/n

/n
Maintain QMS aligned with ISO, IEC, EN, UL, CE , and customer requirements.

/n
Lead internal, customer, certification, and regulatory audits.

/n
Ensure corrective/preventive actions and audit-ready documentation.

/n

/n

Manufacturing & Supplier Quality

/n

/n
Establish controls for SMT, assembly, soldering, coating, inspection, and testing.

/n
Implement PFMEA, SPC, poka-yoke, and traceability systems.

/n
Improve yield, OEE, and reduce defects, rework, and scrap.

/n
Qualify, audit, and develop suppliers.

/n

/n

Product Quality & Release

/n

/n
Define product validation criteria and release controls.

/n
Support NPI through DFM, DFT, DFR, and design reviews.

/n
Govern configuration management and engineering changes.

/n

/n

Test Laboratory & Reliability

/n

/n
Establish and manage Quality Test, Failure Analysis, and Reliability Lab.

/n
Oversee functional, safety, EMC/EMI, endurance, and reliability testing.

/n
Lead FRACAS , root-cause investigations, and corrective actions.

/n

/n

/n

Customer Quality & Field Performance

/n

/n
Lead customer complaints, escalations, and 8D responses.

/n
