Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantitative Ability Trainer (CAT) – QA-LR-DI role based in Bengaluru. The trainer will design and deliver classroom sessions on Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, and Data Interpretation for CAT and related competitive exams.
Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, creating practice questions and tests, analyzing student performance, and offering personalized feedback and doubt-solving support. The role involves updating training material in line with exam trends, conducting mock tests, and contributing to academic content used across IMS centers.
The trainer will collaborate with the academic and center teams to ensure high-quality learner experience and consistently strong exam outcomes.
Qualifications
- Solid expertise in Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, and Data Interpretation, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse learner groups.
- Experience in exam preparation training for CAT or similar entrance tests, including familiarity with current patterns, difficulty levels, and strategic test-taking approaches.
- Excellent classroom facilitation, communication, and presentation skills, with a learner-centric and inclusive teaching style.
- Ability to create high-quality academic content such as practice questions, worksheets, tests, and explanatory solutions.
- Comfort with using digital tools, learning management systems, and basic data analysis to track learner progress and outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, mathematics, statistics, management, or a related quantitative discipline; strong academic record is an advantage.
- Prior CAT/XAT performance at a high percentile is a must, along with experience mentoring or teaching aspirants.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple batches, schedules, and exam cycles, and openness to work on weekends and peak exam seasons as required.
