Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration.

Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of comprehensive solutions. Daily activities include continuous testing processes, supporting automation strategies, and actively engaging in quality enhancement initiatives.

The position also involves monitoring system performance, reviewing code contributions, and facilitating communication among team members to uphold the integrity and reliability of the software products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.




- Assist in mentoring junior team members to support their professional growth and development.
- Engage in regular review sessions to ensure alignment with project goals and quality standards.
- Document testing procedures and outcomes to maintain clear and accessible records for future reference.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in API Testing.
- Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test plans for application programming interfaces.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to support continuous testing efforts.
- Ability to analyze and report defects effectively to facilitate timely resolution.
- Understanding of security testing principles and regression testing methodologies.
- Capability to configure test environments and manage test data to ensure accurate and reliable results.

Additional Information

- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in API Testing.
- This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
