Role: QA Lead

Location: Andheri, Mumbai

Job Summary

We are looking for a Lead QA to drive quality assurance activities across web, mobile, API, and backend systems. The ideal candidate will lead QA strategy, mentor team members, and ensure high-quality deliverables through effective test planning, automation, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end QA strategy, planning, and execution
- Define test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for web, API, and backend applications
- Review and approve test deliverables (test cases, automation scripts, reports)
- Drive test automation strategy for UI and API
- Perform and guide API testing (REST, Postman, Swagger, REST Assured)
- Oversee web/mobile automation testing (Selenium / Playwright / Cypress) on cloud like browserstack/lambda test .
- Ensure defect tracking, triage, and root cause analysis
- Coordinate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams
- Validate non-functional testing (performance, security, reliability)
- Ensure quality in CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor test metrics and KPIs
- Mentor and guide QA team members
- Participate in release sign-offs

Technical Skills





- Strong knowledge of QA processes & methodologies
- Excellent hands-on experience in Java/Python/Javascript
- Expertise in Web Automation (Selenium / Playwright / Cypress) amd Mobile(Appium)
- Strong experience in API Testing (Postman, REST Assured, Swagger)
- Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
- Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL)
- Experience in performance testing (JMeter / Gatling – good to have)
- Understanding of security testing basics (OWASP)

- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

Nice to Have(optional)

- Experience in microservices architecture
- Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes
- Exposure to cross-zone load balancing & cloud networking
- ISTQB or equivalent certification
