Quality Analyst@ PEOPLE10

Experience: 3 - 4 years

Job Location: Bangalore (Remote)

Shift Time : 2:00pm - 11:00 pm IST (9 hrs) / 3:30am - 12:30pm CDT

Job Overview

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of quality, technology, and continuous delivery. You will:

Gain deep understanding of business workflows and user journeys

Play a critical role in preventing defects before they reach customers

Learn to design high-quality test scenarios beyond scripted test cases

Get hands-on exposure to:

Exploratory and risk-based testing

Agile QA practices and shift-left testing

Test planning, estimation, and defect triaging

- Opportunity to upskill into automation testing over time, with mentorship and hands-on support.

- You will work in a full-stack agile team comprising

- Software Developers (Frontend & Backend)

- Product Owners / Business Analysts

- Software Developers (Frontend & Backend)

- UX / Design teams

- Support and Release teams (as required)

- You will report to the Team lead.

Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities
- Understand product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria

- Design and execute functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory tests

- Identify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis

- Collaborate with developers during defect triage and root cause analysis

- Perform end-to-end testing across multiple modules and integrations

- Validate fixes and ensure no regression issues

- Maintain and update test cases, test data,



and test documentation

- Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

- Support UAT and production validation activities

- Identify test scenarios suitable for future automation

- Maintain test documentation, metrics, and quality dashboards

- Advocate for quality best practices across teams

- Work effectively as part of a globally distributed agile team following Scrum practices

- Communicate clearly with stakeholders including designers, backend teams, and product owners

What We’re Looking For

- Robust analytical and logical thinking

- Excellent attention to detail and curiosity to break the system

- Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals

- Good communication and documentation skills

- Ability to understand business context and user impact

- Ownership mindset and accountability for quality

- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments

- Collaborative and open to feedback

- Exposure and Experience in any automation tools and Frameworks such as Web driver IO , Cucumber BDD framework, Playwright, or similar

Good to have Skills :

- Positive knowledge of test automation concepts

- Understanding of .Net or JavaScript fundamentals

- Experience working with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger)

- Familiarity and experience with SQL / basic database validation

- Awareness of CI/CD pipelines and automation execution

- Knowledge of accessibility or performance testing fundamentals
