Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Analyst with 2–3 years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing and exposure to test automation. You will work closely with developers and other team members to identify defects, execute test cases, and ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand software requirements and contribute to the preparation of test scenarios, test cases, and test plans.
- Execute manual and automated test cases and analyze test results.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
- Re-test defects after fixes and perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not impacted.
- Collaborate with developers and other team members to understand and resolve defects.
- Participate in defect triage and provide clear information about issues, their impact, and reproduction steps.
- Perform basic database testing and validate data using SQL queries.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to quality-related discussions.
- Support testing activities during releases and post-release validation.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and increase test automation coverage.
- Maintain clear and accurate test documentation.
- Stay updated with testing tools, techniques,



and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Good understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and SDLC/STLC.
- Hands-on experience in manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Basic to intermediate experience in test automation using Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.
- Experience with issue-tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Good understanding of test case design and defect life cycle.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution is an added advantage.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
