Role Description This full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Engineer role is based in Cuddalore and focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of Photon’s software solutions.

The Quality Assurance

Engineer will design, document, and execute test cases, perform manual testing, and validate software functionality against requirements and specifications.

Responsibilities include identifying defects, logging and tracking issues,



collaborating closely with developers and product teams, and participating in reviews to improve test coverage and software quality. The role also involves contributing to test plans, maintaining test documentation, and supporting continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in Quality Assurance, with experience in Software Testing and QA best practices.
- Hands-on skills in Manual Testing and Test Execution across web or mobile applications.
- Ability to design, document, and maintain clear and comprehensive Test Cases.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Comfort working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with bug tracking tools, test management systems, and basic understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies is beneficial.
