Engagement: Large-scale implementation program (D365 F&O;, D365 CE, InRiver PIM, Shopify)

About the RoleWe are in the middle of a large-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O; and CE) implementation, alongside a recent InRiver PIM integration into our Shopify ecommerce storefront. We're looking for a QA Lead to own test strategy and automation across this entire program using elevaite365, an AI-powered, no-code test automation platform purpose-built for Dynamics 365 and its integrations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives during the highest-stakes phase of an ERP program — building the automated regression backbone that gives the business confidence to go live, and staying through cutover, hypercare, and beyond.

What You'll Do• Own the elevaite365 test automation build-out across D365 F&O;, D365 CE, and their integrations with InRiver and Shopify

- Lead and mentor a QA team of automation and manual testers throughout the implementation lifecycle (CRP, SIT, UAT, cutover, hypercare)
- Design and record end-to-end business process test scripts in elevaite365, translating functional consultants' business process documentation into automated, self-maintaining test scripts
- Architect cross-system test scenarios validating data flow across the full stack — e.g., product/attribute data from InRiver into D365 F&O; and out to Shopify; customer/lead data through D365 CE; order and inventory sync back from Shopify
- Partner directly with the implementation partner/SI, functional consultants,



and business process owners to build a shared test strategy and traceability matrix (requirements → test scripts → defects)
- Own the master test plan for each implementation phase: System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Cutover/Go-Live rehearsals
- Manage defect triage across workstreams (F&O;, CE, InRiver, Shopify, integration middleware), driving root cause analysis with the right technical owner
- Coordinate UAT with business stakeholders (Finance, Sales, Merchandising, Customer Service) — training them on test execution, tracking sign-off, and managing exit criteria
- Build the regression suite that will outlive the implementation — ensuring elevaite365 scripts are structured for reuse in steady-state testing of future D365 updates (Microsoft's twice-yearly release cadence)
- Report test progress, risk, and quality metrics to the program steering committee, including defect burn-down and go/no-go readiness for each cutover milestone
- Manage test environments and data across D365 sandbox tiers, InRiver staging, and Shopify dev/staging stores

What You BringRequired• 6+ years in QA/software testing, 2+ years in a lead role, ideally within ERP implementation programs specifically (not just steady-state support)





- Direct experience testing on a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O; and/or CE implementation — understanding of standard implementation phases (CRP, SIT, UAT, cutover, hypercare)
- Experience with AI-powered or record-and-playback test automation tools for enterprise business applications (elevaite365 experience is a strong plus; will train specifically on elevaite365 if coming from a comparable no-code/low-code automation tool)
- Familiarity with RSAT (Microsoft's Regression Suite Automation Tool) — either direct use or experience migrating away from it
- Experience validating system integrations — ideally including PIM-to-ERP or ERP-to-ecommerce data flows
- Working knowledge of InRiver (or a comparable PIM) and Shopify (or a comparable ecommerce platform) from a testing/data-validation standpoint
- Comfort managing test plans and traceability in Azure DevOps or similar ALM tooling
- Strong stakeholder management skills — able to coordinate testing across an SI partner, internal business teams, and multiple platform owners simultaneously
- Experience running or supporting UAT with non-technical business users

Nice to Have• Prior experience specifically on a multi-system ERP + PIM + ecommerce implementation (not just single-platform)

- Familiarity with Microsoft Sure Step or comparable ERP implementation methodology
- Experience with integration/middleware testing (Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, or third-party iPaaS)
- Retail, CPG, distribution, or manufacturing background — common industries running this exact stack
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 or ISTQB certifications
