Key Responsibilities

- Write and maintain test cases clear, step-by-step checks that confirm the software works the way it should.
- Test new features, and re-test the existing ones after any change, so that nothing that used to work quietly breaks.
- Check that the data and the APIs behind the screen are returning the correct results.
- Report problems clearly, with the exact steps needed to see them again, and follow them up until they are fixed.
- Look into an issue deeply enough to understand why it is happening, not just that it is happening.
- Think about the unusual situations a real user might run into, and test those as well.
- Work closely with the developers so that issues get sorted out quickly.
- Keep test and bug records neat, complete, and up to date.
- Use AI tools to test faster, spot problems sooner, and keep documentation clear.

Required Skills

- A good understanding of software testing — what to test, why it matters, and how to go about it.
- A basic understanding of how software is built, and how systems talk to each other over a network.




- Hands-on experience testing APIs and checking data stored in a database.
- The ability to read a requirement and turn it into a clear, complete set of tests.
- Comfortable using GitHub, or a similar tool, to keep track of work.
- Good logical thinking — able to work through a problem step by step and reach the right answer.
- Able to dig into an issue and find the real reason behind it.
- A sharp eye for detail — you notice the small things other people miss.
- Able to explain a problem clearly and politely, both in writing and in person.
- A good listener who understands what is being asked, and checks when something is not transparent.
- Calm, patient, and easy to work with as part of a team.
- Must-have: Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar.

Preferred Skills

- Some experience with automation testing — writing scripts that run the tests on their own.
- Familiarity with Python and Playwright.
- Basic SQL — enough to look up and check data in a database.
