Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage and oversee the procurement of jewellery, gold, diamonds, gemstones, jewellery components, and other materials required for business operations. The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, price negotiation, purchase planning, quality verification, and ensuring timely procurement at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete purchase and procurement process for the jewellery business.
- Source and evaluate reliable suppliers, manufacturers, wholesalers, and vendors.
- Purchase gold, silver, diamonds, gemstones, jewellery, findings, packaging materials, and other required items.
- Coordinate with the accounts, inventory, production, sales, and management teams regarding purchase requirements.
- Plan purchases based on stock levels, sales requirements, production schedules, and business demand.
- Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate purchase records,



vendor details, quotations, invoices, and related documentation.
- Ensure procurement activities follow company policies and applicable jewellery industry standards.
- Resolve discrepancies related to quantity, quality, pricing, billing, and deliveries.
- Prepare regular purchase reports, vendor reports, and MIS reports for management.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of jewellery procurement and purchasing processes.
- Good understanding of gold, diamond, gemstone, and jewellery pricing.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of market trends and precious metal rates.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and purchase/inventory management software.

Qualification

- Any Bachelor's Degree / MBA in Purchase, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Above 5years of relevant experience in jewellery purchasing/procurement preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
