Key Requirements
Mechanical Engineering background is preferred, as the role involves procurement related to fire protection/project materials.
2-5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in Fire Protection,
MEP, EPC, Engineering or Project-based industries.
Good knowledge of project material procurement, vendor development, price negotiation and cost control.
Experience in PO processing, PR-to-PO conversion, vendor coordination, GRN and invoice coordination.
Ability to identify and develop reliable vendors and ensure timely delivery of project materials.
Valuable understanding of technical/project requirements and coordination with
Engineering, Projects, Stores and Accounts teams.
Experience with SAP/ERP systems will be preferred.
Candidate should have good negotiation, communication and coordination skills.
