PR Specialist (Healthcare Industry)

We are seeking a dedicated PR Specialist to represent and amplify the personal brand of a Healthcare Leader and a Healthcare Brand.

This is a high-visibility role working exclusively on building the public legacy.

Responsibilities:

- Proactive media strategy positioning the healthcare leader
- Pitch and secure feature stories, expert interviews, TV panel appearances, and editorial columns across health, lifestyle, and mainstream national media
- Own the full awards and recognition pipeline - medical, healthcare leadership, and public service recognitions at the national and international level
- Build and manage relationships with health journalists, editors, TV producers, and podcast hosts
- Coordinate all media interactions end-to-end: briefing, talking points, narrative prep, and follow-through
- Identify and secure speaking opportunities at medical conferences, public health forums, and corporate wellness events
- Work closely with the content team to ensure PR-originated material flows consistently across YouTube,



Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Monitor coverage, track reputation, and deliver monthly impact reports

Required

- 5–8 years in PR or media relations- with provable placement history, not just outreach activity
- Prior experience managing personal PR for a senior individual: doctor, academic, public figure, or entrepreneur
- Strong existing network of health, lifestyle, and mainstream media contacts in India - journalists, editors, producers you can call, not just email
- Ability to translate clinical expertise into compelling human stories for a mass audience
- Someone who pitches relentlessly, follows up without being asked, and treats every placement as a stepping stone to the next

Good-to-Have

- Background in medical, pharma, or healthcare PR
- Familiarity with India's medical awards ecosystem and CME/conference circuit
- Existing relationships with health show producers and wellness podcast hosts
