Role Descriptions: Techno BA
We are looking for a Business and Data Analyst to support the Valuations LDP project. The role focuses on analyzing, validating, and interpreting data loaded into Stargate, ensuring data quality, consistency, and business usability for Actuarial processes.

The ideal candidate will have SQL skills, a solid understanding of data models, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders. Knowledge of the Reinsurance / L&H; domain.

Key Responsibilities
Perform data quality checks, reconciliations, and root-cause analysis for data issues
Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support data analysis and business validation
Understand and work with logical and physical data models, including upstream and downstream dependencies
Collaborate with business users, actuaries, and valuation stakeholders to understand data requirements and explain analysis results
Support investigations related to valuation numbers, movements,



and exceptions
Document data findings, assumptions, and analysis outcomes clearly and concisely
Contribute to continuous improvement of data analysis and validation processes

Required Skills & Experience
Robust hands-on experience with SQL (complex joins, aggregations, subqueries, performance tuning)
Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (facts, dimensions, keys, relationships)
Proven ability to analyze large datasets and identify data quality or consistency issues.
Experience working directly with business users and translating business questions into data analysis.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Willingness and ability to learn the Reinsurance / Valuations domain if not already experienced.
