Design, develop, and deploy SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Build reusable components (connections, configurations, templates) and enforce naming conventions.
Integrate data from diverse sources (SQL Server, flat files, Excel, APIs, cloud storage).
Implement robust error handling, logging, checkpointing, and retry strategies.
Schedule and monitor ETL jobs via SQL Server Agent; triage failures and remediate root causes.
Optimize SSIS packages and underlying SQL (indexes, partitioning, query tuning) for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with DBAs, Data Engineers, Analysts, and Product/Business teams to capture requirements and deliver solutions.
Perform data profiling, validation, and reconciliation; document data flows and lineage.
