Position: Optical Store Manager

Role & Responsibilities

Manage the overall operations of the optical store, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.

/n
Lead and guide the optical sales team to achieve business and customer service objectives.

/n
Assist customers in selecting frames, lenses, and optical products based on their requirements and prescriptions.

/n
Ensure accurate optical measurements, frame fitting, lens orders, and timely delivery of products.

/n
Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, product availability, and maintain proper stock records.

/n
Ensure proper display, cleanliness, and visual merchandising of optical products.

/n
Handle customer queries, complaints, and provide effective resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

/n
Coordinate with optometrists and ophthalmology teams for prescription-related clarifications.

/n
Maintain records of customer prescriptions, sales transactions, billing details, and work orders.





/n
Ensure compliance with store processes, quality standards, and operational guidelines.

/n
Drive sales performance through effective customer engagement and product knowledge.

/n

Requirements

/n

/n
Graduation in Optometry or relevant optical retail experience preferred.

/n
3 to 7 years of experience in optical retail, eyewear, or eye care industry.

/n
Solid knowledge of frames, lenses, coatings, optical products, and customer requirements.

/n
Good leadership, communication, and team management skills.

/n
Customer-focused with robust sales and service orientation.

/n
Basic computer knowledge and experience with billing/inventory systems.

/n
Ability to manage store operations independently.

/n
Well-groomed, qualified, and approachable personality.
