Role: Project Manager/Contract Manager

Must have handled 700CR+ Project in power sector

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Experience with over 14 years of experience in the power sector.
2. Post - Graduate qualifications in management / engineering will be an added advantage.
3. Relevant experience in power utilities and in the electricity distribution projects is required.
4. Should have supervised at least one project of Rs 700 Cr or above in the capacity of team leader or similar.
5. Proven project management, Contract Management, Leadership, Monitoring & Evaluation, reporting, communication, and social skills. Know-how of regulatory frameworks of Power Sector will be an added advantage.

The major tasks to be carried out by the DTL shall include but not be limited to the following;
1. Supervision of works; All RDSS scheme works at Region level.
2. Keep proper records of the Contractors' activities and work progress;
3. Ensure that the respective Contractor(s) are properly administered;

Assist the Team Leader with the review of the Contractors' Work Programme and scheme for the deployment of plant, equipment and machinery;
1. Strictly monitor the progress of work for timely completion of the project;
2. Supervision, scrutiny, approving the final setting out by the Contractor.
3. Assisting the Team Leader with updating drawings,



setting up quantity and quality control procedures and review of contractors' method of construction;
4. Monitoring Contractors' operations including adherence to safety and environmental requirements;
5. Assisting Field supervisor / field engineers for issuing site instructions;
6. Assisting the Team Leader with the preparation of Variation orders;
7. Maintaining a record set of working drawings;
8. Maintaining construction records;
9. Assisting the field engineers of MPPKVVCL Jabalpur for recording of Measurements of completed works;
10. Assisting the Team Leader with the evaluation of Contractors' Claims;
11. Quality control of works; verification of Bus-Bar stringing, alignments in Sub-Stations in of all types of lines, inspection of works, acceptance and rejection of the completed works;
12. Verification of Contractors' monthly estimates of the completed works and assisting the Team Leader in the preparation of Interim Certificates;
13. Progress monitoring;
14. Conducting and keeping record of minutes of the weekly site meetings;
15. Preparing monthly Progress Reports;
16. Final inspection of works;
17. Verification of Contractors' Statements at completion;
18. Compilation and verification of As-Built Drawings"; and
19. Preparation of contract Completion Reports.
20. Any other works related to the RDSS given by CGM(RDSS)/ Director (Project)/ CGM (W&P;)/ concerned CGM (Region)
