About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Lead/State Lead to helm strategic operations for our political consulting organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in political consulting or campaign management, a strong record of leading teams, and the maturity to operate as the critical link between top management and on-ground teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary point of coordination between senior leadership and operational/field teams, ensuring strategic priorities are clearly communicated and executed.
- Lead, mentor, and manage multiple teams simultaneously across research, field operations, communications, and strategy verticals.
- Take end-to-end ownership of projects from planning to execution to delivery with minimal hand-holding.
- Build and maintain a high-performance culture where team members are aligned, accountable, and motivated.
- Represent the organization in high-stakes meetings with clients, political stakeholders, and partners with polish and discretion.
- Anticipate bottlenecks between strategy and execution and proactively resolve them.
- Uphold the organization's standards of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism given the sensitive nature of political work.

Requirements:

- Prior experience in political consulting, campaign management, or a closely related field is essential; strong understanding of political dynamics, electoral processes, and stakeholder management.
- Proven experience leading and managing multiple teams or verticals simultaneously
- A Graduate or Postgraduate degree from a premier institute is mandatory.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant qualified experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility quickly; someone teams naturally align behind and follow.
- Track record of staying with organizations for meaningful tenures, reflecting genuine long-term commitment rather than transient stints.

Competencies we are looking for:

- Executive presence: Polished, articulate, and professional in high-pressure and high-visibility settings.
- Ownership mentality: Genuinely driven to prove their capability and grow into larger leadership mandates; treats the organization's goals as their own.
- Natural leadership authority: Commands respect through competence and conduct, not just title. Ability to align diverse teams around a common direction.
- Reliability and discretion: Someone leadership can trust implicitly with sensitive information and high-stakes decisions.
- Bridge-building: Skilled at translating high-level strategy into actionable, ground-level plans, and vice versa.

What we Offer:

- A high-impact leadership role at the intersection of strategy and execution.
- Direct exposure to political consulting at a senior level.
- Remuneration- As per the last drawn CTC or industry standards.
