Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Finance Program Manager to lead and manage strategic finance programs, regulatory initiatives, compliance processes, financial transformation, and cross-functional projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Taxation, RBI regulations, SEBI regulations, regulatory reporting, financial controls, and compliance frameworks, with the ability to work closely with Finance, Legal, Business, Operations, and senior leadership teams.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage strategic finance programs and cross-functional projects from planning through execution.
- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, SEBI requirements, Income Tax, GST, Companies Act, and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Monitor changes in taxation, RBI, SEBI, and other regulatory requirements and assess their impact on business and finance operations.
- Drive implementation of current financial policies, processes, controls, regulatory requirements, and compliance frameworks.
- Manage regulatory and statutory reporting requirements and ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Business, Operations, and senior leadership on finance and regulatory initiatives.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, legal advisors, and regulatory authorities as required.
- Drive finance transformation, process improvement, automation, and digitisation initiatives.
- Identify process gaps and strengthen internal financial controls and governance mechanisms.
- Track program milestones, risks, dependencies, deliverables, and timelines and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, MIS, and management reporting initiatives where required.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations and regulatory/compliance action points.




- Develop dashboards and management reports to track key finance and compliance metrics.
- Identify financial and regulatory risks and work with relevant stakeholders to develop mitigation plans.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Taxation, GST, Income Tax, RBI regulations, SEBI regulations, and financial compliance.
- Experience in managing cross-functional finance programs/projects.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, audit, and regulatory reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent stakeholder and project management capabilities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple programs, priorities, and deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial/management reporting tools.
- Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and external consultants/advisors.

Qualifications

- CA / MBA Finance / CMA / equivalent qualification preferred.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in Finance, Finance Transformation, Program Management, Regulatory Compliance, or Financial Operations.
- Experience in NBFC, FinTech, Banking, Financial Services, or other regulated businesses preferred.
- Prior experience handling RBI/SEBI compliance, taxation, audits, regulatory reporting, or finance transformation will be an advantage.
- Experience in managing large-scale cross-functional programs and working with senior stakeholders.
