to improve Wildlife Treatment and Management: A Mumbai-based candidate who has a passion for conservation and is interested in researching for Veterinary Education in order to improve Wildlife Management. Assignments will include the tasks of (i) Research on present-day vet education and internship opportunities
(ii) Research gaps in the management of wildlife-related illnesses and other fatalities in sanctuaries and wildlife parks. (iii) Interview-based ground research with wildlife communities, sanctuary personnel and veterinary colleges. (iv) Ideation and research on various aspects related to tie-ups between Vet Colleges and Sanctuaries to improve facilities in such parks and simultaneously improve the skills of Vet Interns; (v) Exploring Fellowship opportunities for trainee vets to intern at sanctuaries and wildlife parks.
The role will require some travel and fieldwork.
Applicants should have/be
A Masters Degree in environmental studies or research work
Prior experience in conducting research and report writing
Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal and networking skills
Capable of working independently on research projects
Fluent in English with a solid command on vocabulary
