Product Manager
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the processes related to the definition of inbound products. Your primary duty will be to develop functional specifications, including capabilities, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria, drawing from feedback provided by both internal and external customers. You will take the lead in detailing requirements, specifications, and prioritizing features for the product.
Collaboration with stakeholders will be crucial in defining product roadmaps, as you will offer both technical and market insights throughout the development process. You will have a deep understanding of the product's overall capabilities and will work closely with the development team to ensure a successful product launch.
The specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: -
- The Product Manager will work closely with both onsite and offshore teams to assess requirements and devise solutions.
- The Product Manager will define and lead the product strategy and roadmap for the offerings.
- The Product Manager will effectively convey the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to the engineering team as required.
- The Product Manager will play a key role in managing the product backlog, crafting user stories, and approving feature acceptance, all while adhering to the agile methodology set for project management.
- The Product Manager will collaborate with the engineering team to assess capabilities and alternatives, taking responsibility for defining and prioritizing product releases.
- The Product Manager will generate release notes, develop demo scripts, and perform feature demonstrations for stakeholders, in addition to product demonstrations for stakeholders and clients.
- The Product Manager will work alongside UX and the engineering team to shape product design. The
Product Manager will autonomously identify and access relevant data to build compelling business cases.
- The Product Manager will prioritize the backlog at both the feature and user story levels, having a comprehensive understanding of each feature.
- The Product Manager will take proactive action based on feedback obtained during retrospective meetings.
- The Product Manager will identify potential challenges and proactively devise mitigation strategies.
- The Product Manager will cultivate and encourage a culture of innovation within the portfolio.
Required Skillset
- The Product Manager is anticipated to operate as a ""Feature CEO"" for the Product. A thorough understanding of the Healthcare sector, the primary prescription adjudication system, the prescription specialty subsystem, and the prescription member workflow is essential for the Product
Manager.
- The product Manager must possess the skills to define both the technical and functional elements of the product roadmap.
- The Product Manager will work in conjunction with the stakeholder team to grasp business requirements, translate them into capabilities, features, and user stories, and manage the product backlog and planning.
- The Product Manager should be proficient in creating wireframes, acceptance criteria, and user stories.
Expertise in MVP development and product launches is a requirement for the Product
Manager.
- The candidate should be skilled in using Rally/Jira or similar project management tools, as well as
AHA and other comparable requirements tools. Exceptional communication skills are a must for the
Product Manager
Qualification & Experience
- A Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) or Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) degree, with or without a Master of Business Administration (MBA), or a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of
Pharmacy (B. Pharm), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), or any other pertinent Allied Healthcare
Bachelor's Degree, in addition to an MBA and a comprehensive understanding of Business Analyst or
Product Owner roles, or candidates possessing a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree.
- Candidates with a strong background in healthcare who do not possess an MBA may also be eligible,
provided they fulfill the other outlined requirements.
- 7 to 11 years of experience in the IT sector is required, including 5 to 7 years specifically in the
Healthcare Informatics field.
- Candidates must demonstrate solid logical reasoning skills and effective communication abilities.
Exclusions Criteria
- The position is NOT suitable for candidates who lack experience in developing capabilities, features,
user stories, and acceptance criteria, and who have not collaborated with the development team in implementing these features.
- Furthermore, the position is NOT suitable for individuals currently serving as Scrum Masters or
QAs/Testers, as this may lead to challenges with onboarding, training and delivery.
- The position is NOT appropriate for candidates with a background in commerce and Arts (BA/B.
Com) due to potential fitment issues on technical front
