Position : Database Administration (MSSQL Server & MongoDB) Location : Gurgaon Shift : Rotational 24*7 Onsite/ Work From Office Database Administration (SQL Server & MongoDB) • Install, configure, and manage Microsoft SQL Server and MongoDB Standalone/clusters • Handle database provisioning, upgrades, patching, and migrations • Manage both on-premises and cloud environments (Azure SQL, MongoDB Atlas) ________________________________________ Performance Tuning & Optimization • Optimize SQL queries, indexing, stored procedures • Analyze MongoDB performance using: o Query profiler o Indexing strategies o Aggregation pipeline optimization • Troubleshoot: o Slow queries o High CPU/memory utilization o Locking/blocking issues (SQL) o Replication lag (MongoDB) ________________________________________ High Availability & Disaster Recovery • SQL Server: o Always On Availability Groups o Failover Clustering o Log Shipping / Replication • MongoDB: o Replica Sets configuration o Sharded cluster management • Manage backup & restore strategies for both platforms • Conduct DR drills and failover testing • Windows Server Cluster configuration/Installation ________________________________________ Incident Management (L2 / L3 Support) • Handle production incidents, outages,



and escalations • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures • Provide support for 24x7 critical environments ________________________________________ Automation & Scripting • Develop automation scripts using: o T-SQL, PowerShell (SQL Server) o MongoDB Shell / Python / Bash • Automate routine DBA tasks, monitoring, alerts ________________________________________ Security & Compliance • MSSQL o Roles, permissions, TDE encryption, auditing • MongoDB: o Authentication (SCRAM, LDAP), RBAC, encryption • Ensure compliance with data security standards ________________________________________ Monitoring & Maintenance • Monitor database performance using tools like: o SQL: SSMS, Extended Events, Redgate, SCOM o MongoDB: Ops Manager, Atlas Monitoring • Schedule and manage: o Index maintenance o DB health checks o Capacity planning ________________________________________ Collaboration & Documentation • Work with application teams, DevOps, and infrastructure teams • Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and architecture documents • Participate in change and release management processes
