- Design and maintain I/O configurations.n
- Support processor upgrades and CPC activations.n
- Configure channels, control units, DASD, tape, and FICON infrastructure.n
- Develop and maintain IOCDS definitions.n
- Support data center relocations and site swaps.n
- Coordinate hardware implementation activities.n
- Validate production IPL readiness.n

nPreferred Technical and Professional Experience
n
- n
- IBM Z Mainframe Hardware and I/O Configuration certification or equivalent experience.n
- Strong experience with IBM HCD (Hardware Configuration Definition) and IOCP (Input/Output Configuration Program).n
- Experience with FICON Director, SAN connectivity, and enterprise storage integration.n
- Knowledge of IBM DASD technologies, including DS8000 and enterprise storage platforms.n
- Experience supporting IBM Z CPC upgrades, PR/SM, LPAR configurations, and processor migrations.n
- Familiarity with GDPS, disaster recovery planning, and high-availability solutions.n
- Experience with z/OS IPL processes, HMC, and system activation procedures.
