Team Lead Data Product / Asset Management – 5+ Years

Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Product / Product Management qualified with strong Asset Management / Investment Management domain expertise to join the data and analytics team of a leading global analytics and digital transformation organization.

The role will involve leading enterprise Core Data product initiatives supporting Asset Management and Investment Management businesses. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on understanding of investment data, portfolio data, market/reference data, security data, fund data, IBOR/ABOR concepts and investment-data platforms/vendors.

Strong Asset Management / Investment Management experience is mandatory. Candidates with generic Product Management, FinTech, Banking or Data Product experience without meaningful investment-management exposure will not be considered.

Responsibilities -

1. Lead and mentor Product Owners, Associate Product Owners and Data professionals, ensuring successful delivery of multiple enterprise data product initiatives.
2. Define and manage product roadmaps, priorities, backlogs and execution for Core Data products supporting Asset Management / Investment Management businesses.
3. Partner with Investment Management, Portfolio Management, Data Engineering, Architecture and Data Governance teams to translate investment-business requirements into scalable data products.
4. Drive end-to-end product delivery including requirements gathering, user stories, acceptance criteria, UAT,



release planning and stakeholder management.
5. Work extensively with portfolio, holdings, security, transaction, market, reference and fund data, while driving data quality, governance, standardization and usability across investment-data products.

Requirements -
1. 8+ years of relevant experience in Product Management, Data Product Management, Product Ownership, Program Management, Data Strategy or related functions.
2. Mandatory: Strong Asset Management / Investment Management domain experience with a good understanding of investment-management processes and investment data.
3. Strong understanding of IBOR/ABOR, portfolio and security data, along with experience across asset classes such as Equities, Fixed Income, Funds/ETFs, Private Equity, Real Estate or Alternatives.
4. Hands-on exposure to investment-data platforms/vendors such as Aladdin, SimCorp, eFront, Burgiss, PitchBook, DealCloud, Bloomberg, ICE/WSO or similar platforms.
5. Proven experience delivering enterprise data products, managing Agile backlogs/UAT/releases and leading Product Owners, Business Analysts or cross-functional teams, with strong stakeholder-management skills.
