Role Description The Procurement Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including creating and processing purchase orders, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and maintaining accurate procurement records.

The Procurement

Specialist evaluates suppliers, assists in contract negotiation, and monitors vendor performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing procurement data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, ensuring compliance with company policies,



and supporting inventory and demand planning. The role also involves collaborating with finance, operations, and sales teams to align procurement decisions with business needs.

Qualifications

- Strong procurement knowledge, including experience with procurement processes and vendor management.
- Hands-on experience with purchase orders and related documentation.
- Skills in supplier evaluation and performance assessment.
- Experience in contract negotiation and managing commercial terms.
- Well-developed analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and cost analysis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail, solid organizational abilities, and proficiency in MS Office and procurement-related tools or ERP systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, commerce, or a related field; professional certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata and adapt to a fast-paced, technology-focused environment.
