About the Role The Procurement Specialist role at Shopperbeats is a full-time, on-site position based in Vadodara. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing products, preparing and processing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate procurement records.

The Procurement Specialist evaluates suppliers, monitors performance, and assists in negotiating contracts and pricing to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with internal teams to understand requirements, analyzing market trends and supplier data, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement standards. The role also involves supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the procurement function and building strong, ethical relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

- Source products and suppliers across Australia, UK, USA, Europe, Asia and other global markets.
- Identify new brands, manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and authorised suppliers/Factory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and brand owners.
- Negotiate cost prices, MOQ, payment terms, discounts, rebates and commercial agreements.
- Research products, market demand, competition and profitability.
- Analyse landed costs, margins and overall commercial opportunities.
- Manage the complete procurement process from product sourcing → supplier approval → PO → payment → dispatch → delivery.
- Prepare and monitor purchase orders and supplier performance.




- Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, finance, sales and marketplace teams.
- Obtain required product, brand and compliance documentation.
- Lead, train and manage the procurement/sourcing team.
- Set team targets, monitor KPIs and improve sourcing processes and SOPs.
- Identify opportunities to reduce purchasing costs and improve margins.
- Ensure products and suppliers meet company and marketplace requirements.

Requirements

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Procurement and managing Purchase Orders.
- Candidates should possess skills in Supplier Evaluation and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess skills in Contract Negotiation and vendor relationship management.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for cost analysis, market research, and data-driven decision-making.
- Relevant experience in ecommerce or retail procurement is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with procurement or ERP software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
