We seek candidates having the following skills for our print shop based in Rajarhat, Kolkata:

1. Software Skills

Adobe Illustrator / CorelDRAW: For logos, vector artwork, signage, and dielines. Adobe InDesign / Canva: For multi-page layouts like booklets, brochures, catalogs, and menus.

Adobe Photoshop: For photo retouching, background removal, and color adjustments.

1. Print Setup Basics

Color Mode: Working in CMYK (for print) instead of RGB (for screens), plus using Pantone (PMS) colors when required. Resolution: Keeping all images at 300 DPI so prints don't look blurry or pixelated.

Margins & Bleed: Adding standard bleed (extra background area) and safe margins so content isn't cut off during trimming.

File Exporting: Saving print-ready, high-resolution PDFs with crop marks, embedded fonts, and proper outlines.

1. Paper & Production Knowledge





Understanding paper weights (GSM), finishes (gloss, matte), and textures. Basic knowledge of special finishes like spot UV, gold/silver foil stamping, embossing, and die-cutting.

Familiarity with printing types: digital (small quick runs) vs. offset (bulk commercial printing).

1. Design Sense

Clean typography (good font choices and readable spacing). Balanced layouts and proper alignment.

Robust attention to detail to catch typos and alignment errors before sending files to the press.
