Vedantu is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Pre-Sales Executive to join our team and support demo bookings for the US market, specifically catering to the K3–K10 segment.
? Location: Bengaluru
? Shift: 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM IST
? Working Days: 6 days a week
?️ Week Off: 1 rotational weekday off
ABOUT THE ROLE The Pre-Sales Executive will be responsible for managing and coordinating demo bookings for US-based students and parents in the K3–K10 segment.
The role involves aligning teacher availability with customer requirements across US time zones and ensuring a smooth, timely, and personalized demo scheduling experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Teacher Coordination & Relationship Management
• Coordinate with teachers in real time during the USA night shift to ensure smooth demo scheduling and execution.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with teachers to maintain updated availability and active status for US time zone slots.
- Build and maintain strong qualified relationships with teachers supporting US market requirements.
- Ensure timely resolution of teacher-related scheduling concerns.
1. Teacher Performance Tracking
• Monitor teacher performance through dashboards and internal systems, focusing on demo quality and conversion.
- Identify high-performing teachers based on historical performance and US customer feedback.
- Maintain awareness of teacher strengths, availability, communication style, and suitability for US customers.
1. Demo Booking & Teacher Allocation
• Allocate teachers based on student grade (K3–K10), subject requirements, customer preferences, curriculum needs, and availability.
- Coordinate bookings efficiently across US time zones — ET, CT, MT, and PT.
- Match demo requirements with the most suitable teacher while considering time zone differences.
- Handle high-volume booking requests with speed and accuracy.
1. Scheduling & Availability Management
• Manage and track teacher availability during the USA night shift.
- Maintain knowledge of teacher availability patterns and recurring schedules.
- Track regular teacher time slots to enable faster allocation during peak booking hours.
- Optimize scheduling to improve demo conversion opportunities.
- Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or operational bottlenecks.
1. US Customer Handling
• Communicate professionally with US-based parents and students using clear spoken and written English.
- Understand the basics of the US K–12 education system, grade structure, and parental expectations.
- Handle customer escalations and rescheduling requests calmly and efficiently.
1. System & Operational Excellence
• Work efficiently across multiple dashboards, sheets, and internal systems.
- Maintain operational speed while ensuring booking accuracy.
- Keep internal systems and operational data updated.
- Ensure accurate records and smooth shift handovers.
1. Technical & Analytical Skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including filters, sorting, data handling, and basic reporting.
- Ability to navigate internal dashboards and operational tools independently.
- Strong attention to detail and operational accuracy.
1. Shift Handover & Coordination
• Maintain clear handover records covering pending bookings, teacher concerns, and required follow-ups.
- Coordinate with the day-shift team to ensure continuity of teacher availability data and customer communication.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong coordination and relationship management skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Quick decision-making and execution with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and operational tools.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Prior experience in Pre-Sales, EdTech Operations, BPO, Customer Support, or coordination roles is preferred.
K3–K10 MARKET FOCUS
- Work with students across the K3–K10 grade range.
- Understand student grade, subject, learning requirements, and parent preferences.
- Ensure teacher allocation is aligned with relevant US curriculum requirements.
- Develop strong familiarity with teacher profiles and their suitability for different student requirements.
