We seek an energetic, child-centred educator to deliver play‑based learning, emergent literacy and social‑emotional development for children aged 2–6.

- Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily activity-based lessons and thematic units that develop early literacy, numeracy, motor and socio-emotional skills for pre-primary groups.
- Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment using play-based and inquiry-led methods.
- Assess children through observation and formative tools; maintain progress records and share actionable feedback with parents and centre leadership.
- Design and implement age-appropriate learning materials, classroom routines and transitions to encourage independence and positive behaviour.
- Coordinate with centre staff to run events, parent-teacher interactions and onboarding for new children while following safeguarding and health protocols.
- Follow centre curriculum standards, contribute to continuous improvement of lesson plans, and participate in professional development activities.
Skills &
- Qualifications
Must-Have
- Diploma/Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), Montessori,
or relevant pre-primary certification.
- Proven experience teaching preschool or pre-primary classes in an on-site setting.
- Strong ability in lesson planning and delivery for ages 2–6 with play-based and activity-led approaches.
- Knowledge of early literacy instruction (phonics/emergent literacy) and foundational numeracy practices.
- Child observation and formative assessment skills with record-keeping for developmental milestones.
- Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain immediately upon joining.
Preferred
- Training or experience in Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or similar early childhood pedagogy.
- Experience managing parent communication and conducting structured parent-teacher meetings.
- Familiarity with digital classroom tools for attendance and progress tracking.
