We are looking for a Portuguese-speaking Translator & Interpreter to support in communicating with prospective customers, distributors and business partners, primarily in Brazil.
The candidate will provide Portuguese–English translation and interpretation during initial customer calls, online meetings, WhatsApp conversations, emails and other business communications.
The role is primarily focused on translation and interpretation, enabling smooth communication between the Intech Organics team and international customers.
Key Responsibilities
Provide live Portuguese–English interpretation during telephone calls and online meetings with Brazilian customers.
Translate business conversations accurately between the Intech Organics team and Brazilian customers.
Translate emails, WhatsApp messages, product information and other business correspondence between Portuguese and English.
Assist in communicating technical and commercial information related to:
· Aluminium Phosphide
· Methyl Bromide
· Fumigation
· Post-harvest treatment
· Grain storage
Translate customer queries, requirements and feedback from Portuguese to English.
Assist the Intech Organics team in clearly communicating questions and responses to Brazilian customers.
Provide interpretation support during customer presentations and business meetings.
Assist with follow-up communication with customers through telephone, WhatsApp and email.
Maintain accuracy, confidentiality and professionalism in all translated communications.
Develop familiarity with relevant agrochemical,
fumigation, agricultural and chemical industry terminology to improve the quality of interpretation.
Language Requirements
Mandatory
Portuguese: Fluent / Native-level proficiency
English: Good to Fluent proficiency
Additional Advantage
Knowledge of any of the following languages will be an added advantage:
· French
· German
· Spanish
Other international languages
Preferred language combination: Portuguese + English + French + German.
However, candidates with excellent Portuguese and English proficiency will also be considered.

· Previous experience as a Translator / Interpreter
· Experience in business, commercial or technical translation
· Experience working with international companies or customers
· Familiarity with the Brazilian business environment
· Experience with telephone and online interpretation will be an advantage
This is remote requirement from 06 pm to 08 pm and payment will be on hourly basis
