Role Description The PLC Trainer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The PLC Trainer will design and deliver structured training sessions on PLC programming, configuration, troubleshooting, and integration with industrial automation systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and training materials, conducting classroom and lab-based sessions, guiding learners through practical PLC projects, and assessing their progress through tests and assignments.

The trainer will maintain and update training content to reflect current industry technologies and standards, support learners with doubt-clearing and mentoring, and help coordinate workshops, evaluations, and certification activities.



The role also involves collaborating with the training team to improve course quality, ensuring safe and efficient use of lab equipment, and providing feedback that supports continuous improvement of the training programs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of PLC programming, configuration, and troubleshooting, including experience with common industrial PLC platforms.
- Candidates should possess skills in industrial automation systems, control panels, sensors, actuators, and integration of PLCs with SCADA or HMI solutions.
- Candidates should possess the ability to design and deliver technical training, including curriculum development, lesson planning, and hands-on lab instruction.
- Candidates should possess explicit communication, presentation, and mentoring skills to support diverse learners with varying levels of technical background.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards.
- A diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering/technical field is preferred; relevant industry certifications in PLC or automation are an added advantage.
- Prior experience as an automation engineer, PLC programmer, or technical trainer in industrial automation is highly beneficial.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, manage training schedules, and adapt teaching methods to evolving technologies.
